LIEUTENANT COLONEL KIMBER “LONE-STAR” NETTIS
Lt Col Kimber Nettis serves as the Air Force ROTC Detachment Commander at Baylor University. She graduated from Baylor in 2007 and has since served in a variety of assignments. She was a back-to back Squadron Commander at the 325th Communication Squadron at Tyndall Air Force Base and the 88th Communications Squadron at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
Lt Col Nettis has also served as the Deputy Director for Cyberspace Professional Continuing Education at the Air Force Institute of Technology; Chief of Cyberspace Operations, 515th Air Mobility Operations Wing; and served as flight commander at the 613th Air Operations Center and at the base level. She has also supported Operation Enduring Freedom as the Theater Foreign Disclosure Officer in Iraq and led the Operations and Engineering flight for Special Operations Command Central Forward Headquarters.
